Columbus, OH – To complement the city’s dynamic local music scene, Columbus hosts a variety of large-scale music festivals throughout the year. This summer, Buckeye Country Superfest will take over the mammoth Ohio Stadium June 20-21 hosting nearly a dozen big country music names, including Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Columbus natives Rascal Flatts. Ohio State University’s legendary “Horseshoe” stadium will overflow with die-hard country fans for this two-day country music festival. The Shoe will be transformed to include an enormous stage at one end of Ohio Stadium. Thousands of seats will be positioned on the hallowed Buckeye football field, creating a unique festival experience. Saturday’s lineup will include Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Lee Brice, Tyler Farr and Cassadee Pope, while Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Cole Swindell, David Nail and Parmalee will take the stage for Sunday’s concert.
Fans should plan to arrive early for the free Buckeye Country Superfest Fan Fest, which will take place directly outside Ohio Stadium. The free celebration will include a country music stage, artist meet-and-greets, food and more. Fan Fest will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com and include both single-day and weekend passes. Travelers are encouraged to purchase parking prior to the event. There are various travel packages available, including two-night options available at the Hilton Columbus Downtown and Hyatt Place at OSU. Both include accommodations for the duration of the festival, along with tickets to the event.
