BIA Parade of Homes of announces Meet the Designer events

IMG_8519COLUMBUS, OH – The Building Industry Association of Central Ohio today announced an unprecedented opportunity for Parade of Homes guests. This year they’ll have the chance to meet one-on-one with the interior designers for each luxurious Parade house at daily Meet the Designer events. Each Monday-Wednesday at 2 p.m., the designer from a different Parade house will host meet-ups with guests where they’ll discuss the latest colors and trends in home decorating, share their inspiration for their Parade home’s décor and offer tips for turning any home interior into that of a stunning Parade home.

The Meet the Designer schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, Sept. 25 — At the MI Homes Parade house, Mary Cook Associates
  • Tuesday, Sept. 26 — At the Coppertree Homes Parade house, Michelle Etheridge of Instyle Interiors
  • Wednesday, Sept. 27 — At the Weaver Custom Homes house, Daisy Shamp of Weaver Custom Homes
  • Monday, Sept. 25 — At the P&D Builders Parade house, Michael David Design Center
  • Tuesday, Sept. 26 — At the Rockford Homes Parade house, Sherri Sams of Visual Designs
  • Wednesday, Sept. 27 — At the Fischer Homes Parade House, Joy Perkins of Design with Us Furniture and Accents

“The BIA always receives an outpouring of compliments on the interior of each Parade home. In fact, guests have told us they want to hear more from the interior designers,” said BIA Executive Director Jim Hilz. “Their interest motivated us to offer guests an exclusive opportunity to meet face-to-face with the professionals behind the designs so they can get even more ideas and inspiration for their own homes,” Hilz said.

This year’s parade features six stunning new homes ranging in price from, $550,000 to $700,000 in the beautiful new Northstar Community, developed by Nationwide Realty Investors and The Robert Weiler Company. A 1,700-acre mixed-use development, Northstar Community will feature more than 1,300 single-family homes when completed, as well as 300 acres of commercial sites and locations for elementary and middle schools. The 2015 BIA Parade of  Homes site is located between the 9th, 10th and 12th holes on the 7,500-yard, 18-hole John Cook-designed NorthStar Golf Course, with home sites offering pastoral and scenic views of the course.

The 2015 BIA Parade of Homes takes place Saturday, Sept. 19 through Sunday, Oct. 4 at the Northstar Community in Delaware County. Parade hours are Monday-Saturday: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door, and advance discount tickets are available online for $12.
